Armin Ronacher
Creator of Flask and mistletoe, author of lucumr.pocoo.org, and co-founder of earendil with Colin Daymond Hanna, which acquired pi in April 2026 https://earendil.com/posts/announcing-pi-and-lefos/.
His 2026 writing is the clearest articulation of the harness position this garden keeps converging on. “Pi: The Minimal Agent Within OpenClaw” (2026-01-31) argues LLMs are very good at writing and running code, so the agent’s job is to let it https://lucumr.pocoo.org/2026/1/31/pi/, and his “Some things just take time” is the counter-argument to velocity worship that both Earendil posts lean on https://lucumr.pocoo.org/2026/3/20/some-things-just-take-time/. On Zechner joining he wrote that Pi’s quality is a function of someone “who does not confuse velocity with progress” https://lucumr.pocoo.org/2026/4/8/mario-and-earendil.
The Earendil corpus also hosts the working definition of harness-engineering for the agent-runtime crowd, “what is a harness” (referenced by the Pi Durable post) https://earendil.com/posts/pi-durable/, and the company’s products: Pi, Lefos, Radius. See 2026-10-12-youtube-indydevdan-pi-durable for the demo that brought this page into the vault.
